
After graduating from school in 2000 Ngawang Dorjee worked at Norbulingka institute in Dharamshala. He worked for five years painting murals, doing etchings, and decorating wooden pieces with his beautiful paintings.
Beginning in 2005 Ngawang Dorjee worked as an illustrater for two years, providing drawings fot the Woser Corporation. He drawings provided a visual narratives for stories of Tibetan hostory. The books are sold in India and in America
In 2008 he began to work as a freelance artist. He also exhibited his art at the Sweet Tea House of Tibetan Contemporay art in London.
